Proverbs 15:1

Quarrel

Have you ever tried to argue in a whisper? It is equally hard to argue with someone who insists on answering gently. On the other hand, a rising voice and harsh words almost always trigger an angry response. To turn away wrath and seek peace, choose gentle words.

Proverbs 12:23

Wise people have a quiet confidence. Unstable people (fools) feel the need to prove themselves, but wise people don’t have to prove anything. They know they are capable, so they can get on with their work. Beware of showing off. If you are modest, people may not notice you at first, but they will respect you later.

On 2/5 which was the 12th meeting, the morning session CF made some cards to be given to the teachers on Teachers’ Day Celebration.

We made some cards with Bible verses on them. Although the gifts looked simple, we hope that they would truly be a blessing to all the teachers.

Proverbs 3:3

Love

Love and kindness are important character qualities. Both involve actions as well as attitudes. A loving person not only feels love; he or she also acts loyally and responsibly. A kind person works for justice for others. Thoughts and words are not enough-our lives reveal whether we are truly loving and kind. Do your actions measure up to your attitudes?

Proverbs 1:7

One of the most annoying types of people is a know-it-all, a person who has a dogmatic opinion about everything, is closed to anything new, resents discipline, and refuses to learn. Solomon calls this kind of person a fool. Don’t be a know-it-all. Instead, be open to the advice of others, especially those who know you well and can give valuable insight and counsel. Learn how to learn from others. Remember, only God knows it all.

On the 10th meeting, we had an Easter Celebration. Once again, we learn that Easter is not about bunnies and eggs, but Jesus.

Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus Christ rising from the dead. Jesus is the Son of God and heroically gave His life to die for our sins. On the third day after He died — the day we now celebrate as Easter Sunday, His friends went to His grave, and found that He had risen from the dead. They saw an angel who told them, “Don’t be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He has been raised from the dead, just as He said it would happen.” Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday; now He offers to you the gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sins. This is the true story of Easter, and it can change your life.

1. God loves you.

The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life”

The problem is that

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

4. You can be saved by responding to His love, believing in Him and making Him your personal Lord and Savior.

Here is a simple prayer:

“Dear God, I believe you are the son of God. I want to acknowledge you in my life and I ask that you come and have a relationship with me. I am not perfect, I know that, so thanks for being a patient God. I ask that you forgive me for my sins and thank you for accepting me as I am. Please God, help me to live the rest of my days as you would have me live. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Thank you for making the right choice. God bless.

Psalm 118:24

Rejoice in the Lord

Click here to view the verse.

There are days when the last thing we want to do is rejoice. Our mood is down, our situation is out of hand, and our sorrow or guilt is overwhelming. We can relate to the writers of the psalms who often felt this way. But no matter how low the psalmists felt, they were always honest with God. And as they talked to God, their prayers ended in praise. When you don’t feel like rejoicing, tell God how you truly feel. You will find that God will give you a reason to rejoice. God has given you this day to live and to serve him-be glad!

Psalm 115:1

Glory to God

The psalmist asked that God’s name, not the nation’s, be glorified. Too often we ask God to glorify his name with ours. For example, we may pray for help to do a good job so that our work will be noticed. Or we may ask that a presentation go well so we will get applause. There is nothing wrong with looking good or impressing others; the problem comes when we want to look good no matter what happens to God’s reputation in the process. Before you pray, ask yourself, “Who will get the credit if God answers my prayer?”

A big thank you to all of you girls who came on the 9th meeting for the National Postal Bible Quiz. Hopefully, through this quiz, that you will continue to want to learn more about the Word. May God bless all of you and be with you as you read His Word and obey Him. I really encourage each and everyone of you to never stop reading the Bible and also praying, because everything we do is doomed to fail unless it is God’s plan. How do you know if it is God’s will? The only answer is Bible.
