On the 10th meeting, we had an Easter Celebration. Once again, we learn that Easter is not about bunnies and eggs, but Jesus.

Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus Christ rising from the dead. Jesus is the Son of God and heroically gave His life to die for our sins. On the third day after He died — the day we now celebrate as Easter Sunday, His friends went to His grave, and found that He had risen from the dead. They saw an angel who told them, “Don’t be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He has been raised from the dead, just as He said it would happen.” Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday; now He offers to you the gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sins. This is the true story of Easter, and it can change your life.

1. God loves you.

The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life”

The problem is that

2. All of us have done, said or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,

3. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

4. You can be saved by responding to His love, believing in Him and making Him your personal Lord and Savior.

Here is a simple prayer:

“Dear God, I believe you are the son of God. I want to acknowledge you in my life and I ask that you come and have a relationship with me. I am not perfect, I know that, so thanks for being a patient God. I ask that you forgive me for my sins and thank you for accepting me as I am. Please God, help me to live the rest of my days as you would have me live. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Thank you for making the right choice. God bless.

  1. Amen to the prayer. ;D
The story of Easter is indeed a love story between God and us.
Sometimes, I know it’s weird and perhaps a bit hard to achieve but I hoped that everyone I know and care for can become a Christian. An elder in my church told me too much enthusiasm might ruin everything too.
So, I’ll just stick to praying, hoping and having faith in God.

  2. Esther, yes, never stop praying, hoping and believing. I hope that you will never lose hope on reaching out to non-Christian friends since we’re serving an awesome God.
